Inclusive Life Accelerator 2023

Inclusive Life Accelerator:

From clear intention to vibrant resonance.

A three-day in-person retreat in Washington, DC focused on reflecting on our inner landscape and exploring holistic and restorative practices in order to persevere as leaders in our community.

September 29 – October 1, 2023

Radical transformation starts within.

Join us for the Inclusive Life Accelerator where you’ll walk away equipped with:

An authentic community.
Real conversation.
The most appropriate tools.

In times of radical shift, we can actively engage in and shape transformation, or we can hope for the best. Both are choices.

The way forward isn’t clear, and it’s easy to get impatient, demoralized, and exhausted. We want to believe that “the good guys will win,” but there are no guarantees. Thoughts and prayers without aligned and informed action aren’t enough.

And so we can choose. We can recognize our power to create change. We can dig deep. Forge resilient connections. Access the wisdom of our ancestral roots to understand what we need to move through these times with the most appropriate and effective tools.

The Inclusive Life Accelerator is a gathering of teachers and learners who are bringing their full selves to this moment. Your presence is requested.

The choice is yours.

Unsure the Accelerator is for you?

#InclusiveLife
is messy. It’s awkward. It’s tricky. It’s showing up. It’s transformative. It’s holding space for grieving. It’s righteous anger. It’s community. It’s calling on our ancestors. It’s speaking up. It’s vulnerability. It’s informed action. It’s carrying tears with tenderness. It’s seeds blown in the wind. It’s roots. It’s joy. Its bearing your bones. It’s freedom. It’s being in right relationship. It’s de-centering. It’s change. It’s unexpected conversations. Its spiritual. It’s constant. It’s nourishment. It’s acceptance. It’s sharing resources. It’s correction. It’s a little bit witchy. It’s listening. It’s gratitude. It’s envisioning that which does not exist. It’s necessary. It’s informed action. It’s discernment. It’s love. It’s home.

For those looking to find their place within the Inclusive Life community, this event is an ideal opportunity.

 Let us know you.

I really enjoyed my experience at the Inclusive Life Accelerator in 2020. It was my first time attending and I was motivated to join the event because of the call to spiritual activism. I had been identifying as someone who had come from many years of community based organizing then crossed over into more of a spiritual healing path, really wanting to be able to integrate my life in these two ways. I was incredibly blown away by the boldness and the truthfulness, the utter vulnerability and the courageous radical conversations we were having as a mixed race group. I appreciate the experience so much.

Are there prerequisites?

There are no prerequisites.

This  gathering is for those who are open to learning . It’s not for those who feel threatened or slighted when a cherished point of view is met by a new perspective. It’s for those who can enter this space as both learners and  teachers, welcoming both rigor and room for growth.

What is included in the registration fee?

  • Entrance to our three days of inspired programming facilitated by our speakers.
  • Continental breakfast and lunch on April 28 and 29, brunch on April 30.
  • Bonus Gifts!

*Please note that travel expenses to and from our Accelerator venue, hotel accommodations and dinner are not included in the retreat fee. We have reserved a block of rooms at a local hotel along with many other accommodation choices.

I'd like to go, but I can't afford it.

We’ve created payment plans to  help ease the burden of paying one lump sum. You can choose between the following paymeny plan options:

“Available until” means that the respective payment plan option expires on the date listed. The sooner you select a payment plan option, the smaller your monthly payments are.

If you don’t see a payment option that works for you, please reach out to info@leebayard.com.

Is there information about the venue for the Accelerator?

The Accelerator will be held in private venue in the Takoma Park neighborhood in northwest Washington, DC, right on the border of Takoma Park, MD. The venue name and exact location will be shared upon registration.

What is the schedule for each day of the Accelerator?

We will gather together on Friday, April 28th and Saturday, April 29th from 9am to 5pm, and on Sunday, April 30th from 10am to 2pm.

Each day will feature presentations, workshops, and guidance from a different array of our listed speakers (see photos above).  Breakfast and lunch will be provided on April 28th and 29th, and brunch will be provided on April 30th.

Do you have any recommendations on hotel accommodations for the event?

With our last Accelerator, many folks opted for Airbnbs or hotels in downtown Silver Spring, MD, Takoma neighborhood in Washington, DC, and Takoma Park, MD.

Some folks shared accomodations and, as people register for this year’s event, we are happy to connect folks who are interested in having roommates for the weekend. If you are interested being connected to other folks looking for roommates, please email info@leebayard.com upon registering.

I attended the virtual Accelerator. How will this be different?

The Accelerator has ridden waves of change since its inception in 2019. It is our practice to focus on the moment we are in at the time of the convening. While we were able to bring about a sense of closeness and community in our virtual Accelerators, the in-person gathering is a unique opportunity for connection and fellowship

What accommodations will be made to make the event accessible?

To the best of our ability we will accommodate the needs of participants. When you register, you will have an opportunity to request accommodations.

Will the retreat be recorded?

Please contact info@leebayard.com for more information on this topic.

Will there be COVID mitigation in place for the convening?

Yes. We will work with participants to reduce the risk of exposure to COVID while gathered together, including testing and masking.
